Built on the Cavalier
SRi130 saloon the 'Calibre' was limited to a production run of five
hundred. Aston Martin penned the immense bodykit comprising of skirts,
bumpers, door panels and spoiler which was then put into production by
Irmscher - who also supplied uprated sports springs and a different
sports backbox to accommodate the enlarged rear end. Which was assembled
specially for Vauxhall complete with a trip computer and Chicago cloth
re-trim making it the highest spec, and most expensive cavalier to be
produced during the models life. (interview coming soon with a top
bod at Vauxhall)
