I’d like to cordially invite any of you guys & gals who’d like to attend, to join us in the fun, p*ss taking, wind-up’s and general joviality that ensues! As you all know, we treat this annual show as a social get together of the Club's Members. This is our standard gathering information on who is coming thread. As in previous years please do not amend the master summary post. Please add your own post with the information requested and a Mod will add it to the master list before deleting it. Again, do not put chat here as it will be deleted. Put it in the chat thread. VBOA want to know 1. How many vehicles on the stand per day. We want to know how many are Mk2 Cavaliers and how many are others, Vauxhall or not. 2. How many tents and their approx size e.g. 2, 3 , 4 per…

Hi All, I know I’m new to the club & group, but I thought I’d let you know of a Monza/ Royale/ Senator group meet in Penzance…26th-29th May (Bank Holiday) Weekend. As a group, we have a ‘Family Fun Weekend’ each year - all very laid-back, informal & fun and along with the Opel Manta Owners Club, I thought I’d throw-out an open invitation to you guys, if anyone cares to join us? Although we have a basic schedule, nothing is set in stone as to what we do and peeps are completely free to go off and do their own thing if they please… Let me know if any of you are interested! Kindest Regards, Guy.

Went for a recce for the first time last Sunday. It's a free entry show. Excellent line up of hundreds of Classics, Americans, Customs. One solitary Mk2 Cav 1.6L there - I hope to join him there with my LX in one of the next few events. Plenty of restaurants on site - so you can pitch up early and have a Wetherspoon's breakfast overlooking the marina (not a Morris Marina though you may see one later). Then, after the show, you could drive into Portsmouth and visit Gunwharf Quays (shopping) or the historic dockyard. Let me know if you are interested. Happy to offer my garden in Fleet as a 'camping lodge' for anyone who wants to meet up the night before and then drive…

Welcome to our website. Any car on a stand, as opposed to the any car public car parks, has to be owned by a member of a VBOA registered club. As there is no other VBOA club specialising in Cavaliers and the Mk3 is so closely related to our Mk2s it makes sense to have them in the same place at the show. This will be the second VBOA show where both generations of FWD Cavalier have been on their own on the same stand. This thread gives you details on the procedure you need to follow to show your Mk3 Cavalier (and camp if needed) on our Mk2 Cavalier stand at this years show. In summary - Check on this thread that space is still available (it is) - B…

Just had an update from VBOA. Working on the basis that we hope to be getting back to normal by then, VBOA are are going back to Sywell Aerodrome for the VBOA Rally on the 2nd to the 4th July.. They have listened and learnt lots from the 2019 event and plan to build from that to deliver another show that we as an association and community can be proud of! Details of activities/vendors etc will updated as and when we secure them. All camping, hotel, day and other tickets that were carried over from this year are valid. Hotel rooms at the Aviator hotel onsite will be a first come first served basis. More details as I get them.

I have heard nothing yet about whether the event is still on or not. Just in case I get asked I thought I would ask you lot how you and your families, friend etc feel about whether they would be happy to come. I really need those of you who are regulars to vote please even if you are not coming for other reasons please still vote 'no' as I want to get a feel as to potential numbers. Please vote quickly and feel free to make comments. Thanks John

Please give me some feedback, good or bad, on the event in general at Sywell so that I can take it to the next VBOA meeting. Make that feedback comments on our stand as well please. Also, if you are suggesting it be a bit more than I achieved with our basic stand this year, if you would be up for helping us out next year. Thanks John
