Thanks, i will get a rebuild thread up as as soon as i can. Been looking into engine code, 16SH. some places it says it is a big block 1600? what is this about? Does this mean more of a head ache gettin g stuff for the engine?

Hi. I used to be on this forum a while back under another name. however for some reason i could not get logged on, and with one thing and another have not bothered to get back on. Until now. Was going to sell my '82 SR again, but with another change of heart have decided to do it up. Decided this last time but this time i am determined to se it through this time. I had it for sale for £300 and took some pics of under it, chassis legs/floor and inner wings are in good shape really. Thing it just needs rear arches, outher sills, and door bottoms. Thinking of lowering it, er quite a lot, looks a little daft up there. The auto choke on the carb is shot, so will need replacing. Thinking of motor bike carbs or twin 45s. Will need a cam belt.. so im thinking while the belt is off, slide in a new cam. I also need new exhaust manifold as mine has a tiny hole in it. So im thinking 4-1. Think clutch needs renewing aswell. I know some of you may freak ou at what i want to do, but in my eyes im only making it better, and all the mods can be reversed if needed. Does anyone know of the best place to get/have any of the above parts? Is it true there are only 6 of these left?!
