Certainly is do-able, insurance depends on many factors and who you go with. I have had a couple of quotes and its no different to my freelander. Also see Richies V6 calibre thread.

Completely agree with Paul, this has been a great source of info since joining earlier in the year. Only thing is it gets you hooked even more on Mk2's Have just got my 2nd ;D ;D Nearly forgot, Hello and welcome M8:D

    Epiphany Saying Hi

Hi m8 welcome. Insurance, shop around this is what happened to me. Got a quote for the cabby the other day £165 fully comp and just me as a driver 7000 miles, left on drive. If I declared the 2" sport exhaust I got for it, then it would have been £420. Currently paying £230 on K plate Ford Skip (escort) TPF&T same mileage etc. ??? This is worth more than the car :Ha :Ha Makes no sense to me.

    Hi to all.

Have had the week off to try and get her on the road but the weather has put a halt on most of it. Have tried to get a picture of the £50 wonder, its not good clarity but it should give you an idea of what i got for my money.
