All i know is it needs something doing to it, i have to many things on the go to do it myself now. Yes it is defiantly for sale, for collection via a trailer ASAP. After 27 years it should be nice to finally free up some space if nothing else!

Then buy it off me then. lol I have had a few offers from people,so who do i say yes to?? Do i go on who wants it most, who is willing to spend the most or who has most experience?

How much would you say? Put it this way, i could sell the seats to a friend with a mini for £150, sell the engine for £50-100, wheels £50-100 and the scrap man would give me around £50 for the rest of it. It has to be worth more complete? At the end of the day i think it deserves to be sorted out, so who ever wants to this and pays a reasonable price will get the car.

Jesus that is nasty! No if i did do it it would look 100% original on the outside, and as standard on the inside as pos. I was thinking find a stuffed monaro, take the engine and various bits n bobs n then get fabricating! lol Has any one ever had the OE SR wheels cut and made into split rims before?

Yeah but for what I am gona get for it, I may as well make it into something different? Trust me i like making things a bit odd. -- I could always brake it, might get more that way! lol

Or alternatively i might get the grinder out and do somthing serious. Has anyone ever converted a mk2 to rear wheel drive?

I dont realy mind how much anyone is wanting to pay for it as long as it gets sorted, i think it is to nice to let it rot on my drive! With a little work could be a nice show car. the interior in particular is in exellent condition. Its just i have to many projects on the go and need the room. Hi, I am new here! I have a 1982 1600 SR. my family have owned it from new and it has only done 68k. It has been stood for a couple of years now and i dont know what to do with it now? I dont no weather to get it running right do the usual rear arches n other little bits, and use it for shows and stuff or to just sell it on as is? What do you all recon?
