Got this car recently,i just needs a small amount of work to rear drivers arch at petrol tank area,other than that is in pristine condition one lady owner since 1990,there is no rust in below it the soundest mk 2 i ever did see honestly Keith

Just thought id say hi to the other members to let you see the 1986 sri met blue hatch that i own,the spare wheel has been unused,car has never been patched or welded from new,just over 70 k form new,completely original condition rust free in below and original alloys must be rare these days Met blue with factory rims Hope yous like it Keith i cant get the pictures up sorry

Hello every one Ive had almost every model of mk2 cavalier produced and i must say have very fond memories of that era.I was out today doing some pick ups and deliveries for my company and what do you know i spotted this mk2 sri out of the corner of my eye.I stopped to take a better look feeling all the usual places that they go,ie sill backs rear,rear inner quarter panel behind mud flaps,boot area,front baulk head,in were pedals box fitted,and last but not least inner guards were steering arms come to track rod ends.On inspection this car has none of these issues however just a small section of rust at near side lower apron and were boot shuts very minor.I could not leave without doing a deal it has full service history and is a very easy project one owner car bought from dencourt motors (mallusk n ireland) it has zero rust on rear archs almost looks like 3-4 year old car.I later found out that the car had been in a garage for 19 years and not started untill recently,it burst into life and sounds really good what an interesting find it was (I had to have it) will post pics when i get them thanku N ireland members make themselves known to me Keith
