  1. Looks like i'll need it. 118k on the clock Taxed til sept 11. Mot til March 12. Only rust on the pics in the above link on the back arches. Come on someone save this beauty from the brink, I don't want to put it on ebay but it's looking that way. £700 ono? Does anyone think it's worth a trip to Billing in July with her? someone might be interested at the show, or don't people buy from shows anymore.
  2. Maybe your expertise is correct. It's now offered for sale at £750ovno Please come and see her, she really is a great car, and I just don't want to see her go to waste. If you want to contact me my number is 07528 222030 Thanks, Danny
  3. As someone has said above i'd like to get as close to a grand, but i'm sentimental about it, would you like to view the car sometime? I might be a bit out with the price range, but let me know what you thinking?
  4. Here's the photos as requested. http://s1182.photobucket.com/albums/x456/dannyshep/MK2%20Cav%20Saloon/
  5. Hi Everyone, Thanks for the posts, Ok the power steering option is out as were not sure he will carry on driving much longer, he now has a toyota carolla for a little while to see how he gets on, but if he still struggles then i'm afraid we'll have to have a chat about his future on the roads. The car is at JCT 27 off the M1 in Annesley. I'll get some pictures put up in the next few hrs. It's a manual 5 speed. As i say we just want it to go to someone who will care for it too. I would have it but have nowhere to keep it and we already have 2 cars in the family.
  6. Hi Everyone. I'm having to sell my Grandad's 1985 Cav L 1.6 mk2 saloon. Looking for some guidance to pricing and any future interest. As i said it's a 1985 on a D plate and has done 118odd thousand miles, garaged every night and is in a champagne metallic colour. the interior is immaculate. The car itself has MOT for 11 months and Tax until August, a few small bubbles of rust on the back arches and a small blemish on the front drivers side too. The car is a genuine acheivement to show what lasts if you look after it and so has never wanted for anything. My grandad is now 80 and with no power steering on this car has had to admit defeat, we'll all be sad to see the car go, but want it to go to a home that will continue to care for it. Please let me know your feedback is greatly appreciated thanks. Danny
