You lucky boy! Welcome to the club, get some more pics up, not just the good bits, bad an all, loads of help and advice on here. Whats your plans?
  7. Looks really well fella. Nice organised list of plans too. Never heard of washing seats like that, but get the idea. Brake upgrade always worth while, though rear discs might be a challenge due to lack of available spares. Mk3 cav rear beams are the usual way forward but availability is limited these days. Glad to see it getting some love any how!
  8. Welcome to the club, get some more pictures up and what your plans are.
  9. Can i have the postcode please. Im in Devon the week before on hols and looking for a stopover Sunday, Monday on the way home, so could book a caravan site close by and drop in for a visit.
  10. Nice car , would like to see more pics and a bit of background of how you came to own it.
  11. Looking forward to some pictures on this and hopefully a good heads up on the good and bad of the new venue.
  12. This looks like it has the makings of a really good weekend John, hopefully after the last few years of trials, this could be a long term home for us. Nice to see the autojumble is back, bigger than ever too. Looks like the organisers really know what people want. Cant believe that track time is available too, shame i haven't got a running car, could have really burnt some rubber with my 54hp!
  13. Great to see an uplift in visitors to the forum as we near show season. Hopefully it may continue into the future.

Dont bother mate, just left the facebook site for the third time...lots of users on there, plenty of idiots too...the real enthusiasts come on here cos they are happy to pay membership fees. All but finished me off cav wise. Happy to sell up now.

Glad to see you back. Forum is very quiet these days as most stuff is on face book. Keep posting updates.
  18. Ive been a few times not in a cav, you just park off the stand, usually by the camping bit. Might be the same this year unless I'm very lucky.
  19. Awesome John. Thanks for the updates, it looks to be a very promising event. Just need to work out whether i can get my car roadworthy in time.
  20. Very nice...more pictures please.
  21. A bit at a time is the way forward. Can you get panels over there?

Was it in long term storage? Mot history check says its not had an mot, but that would only go back to when the online system was introduced. Do you have any history with the car that may help you? Its been somewhere dry thats gor sure to not have rotted away.
