1. I agree with the raffle comments. It needs to be discussed at VBOA 2. That was the plan, a bit like the Winter parts day, but Covid got in the way. Also a bit of a problem in that you are trapped with your parts. 3. A great result. 5. Toilets were only clustered together due to Covid queuing, not too bad for us but a hell of a walk from the ends of the show. It will change next year. 7. There was food/live bands scheduled in for Friday and Saturday nights, like the last year, that had to be cancelled, so expect them back next year. It is likely that the earwig mating swarms were due to the wet/mild climatic conditions, bit like the synchronised flying ant swarms. As you say we haven't seen them before but I bet there will be some mosquito nets around next year just in case.

Site all packed up and empty by 2.15, apart from white van man, lady and dog and Vectra lads Don't think it has ever happened this early before. Weather stayed pretty good , so roll on next year.

ONLY FOR 54 PEOPLE!! Vauxhall Bedford Opel Association 17 h · FOOTBALL UPDATE we have agreed a deal with sywell to have the England V Ukraine in the BAR BAR on Saturday night. There are a 9 tables of 6 available and they will be on a first come first served basis. Drinks are table service only. Masks must be worn unless seated and COVID restrictions are in place. Please make sure if there is a queue to get in that you remain 2 metres apart. Hand sanitiser must be used on the entrance.

Forecast is definitely now mixed but at least it won't be cold. Seems to be bands of rain passing through. This part of the country often has the rain clouds passing over it without dropping any. Fingers crossed. At least zero chance of flooding like at Billing.

Shouldn't be necessary with the number of us expected.

As a Club member you can park on our stand, at the back with the non Cavaliers. When driving on the site the speed limit is 5mph as there are likely to be lots of pedestrians around. VBOA want to try and minimise car movements between 10 and 4.

Our Sywell stand size is 50x35 meters. Over 1200 square meters. We should fit into it OK

NEW THIS YEAR Outside those hours there is NO entry/exit due to Covid, due to the lack of manpower to do Track and Trace. So don't drive to the nearest pub to watch an 8 o'clock kickoff football match!!! You won't get back in. Hope you have read the site rules as well.

Here is the map, sorry about the size. The main entrance is in the middle at the bottom with the Track and Trace area straight in front. Our pitch is the second along on the bottom, so once you are in turn first right, first right and then straight ahead. This year we do not have a rear entrance so all vehicles have to enter from the front which means we will have to leave an access road down the side next to the Victor/Cresta stand to allow access to the parking area at the back for the non Cavalier parking and tents etc. This is a big site so its difficult to judge the real size of everything, comparing it to the google Maps image of the airfield our stand might be bigger than at Billing.

This is new this year. I have had the following document from VBOA that I have to sign on behalf of the Club. YOU MUST ABIDE BY THESE RULES VBOA National Rally 2021 –Conditions for clubs exhibiting The VBOA committee and all those involved with the organisation of the national rally want the event to be well attended, welcoming and friendly to all and to avoid any actions that cause alarm, harassment or distress to individuals or endanger the safety of the site or other users. To that end we have created this guidance which we would like you to share with your members and reinforce with them whilst at the show. The area next to the showground at Sywell has a live runway, it is a criminal offence to cross onto the runway or any area outside the showground, if any visitors to the show enter this area the Police will be called and all of the party will be removed from site without further warning. The barriers to the show area and between the show area and the motorsport area must not be crossed. Any breaches of this nature have an implication for the entire show and therefore individual clubs will be responsible for their members on site and must ensure compliance with these regulations. It should be noted that if it appears to the organisers that any exhibitor club may be engaged in activities which are deemed to be contrary to the best interests of the Show or which appear unethical or to be in breach of the law, the VBOA Committee may, without being under any liability to refund or abate any charges paid or due herein, cancel any space allocation which may have been made to the exhibitor club and require them forthwith to vacate the stand space allocated to them and refuse the exhibitor club the right to participate further in the show.This includes any breaches of boundaries of the show and any behaviour that is deemed to endanger life, bullying or harassment or put the VBOA’s insurance cover at risk. 1.Anti bullying and harassment statement All club members, committee members and visitors to the show should be treated and treat others with dignity and respect, they should be able to attend the show without fear or favour and should treat fellow show attendees with dignity and respect, always considering whether their words or conduct could be offensive. Even unintentional harassment or bullying is unacceptable. 2.Speed limit and car movements The speed limit on site is 5mph at all times and all cars moving around the site must have their hazard lights on, this is for the safety of all. Show opening hours are between 10am and 4pm Saturday and Sunday and during that time car movements should be minimised, all movements outside the stand should be accompanied by a banksmanand extreme caution must be exhibited when driving around the show or manoeuvring cars on the stands. 3.Stand boundaries and being a good neighbour Stands have been organised this year to try and give enough space to facilitate social distancing, please try and facilitate this both for your own members and also others coming onto your stand, be a good neighbour to the stands next to yours and respect club’s space.Your taste in music may not be the same as those around you and whilst we all love the sound of car engines no one wants to be woken at 3am by the one next to their tent being revved, employ moderation and thoughtfulness. 4.Follow and convey instructions from the organisers to your members on site There have been incidents in previous years when there have been breaches of boundaries or security, we are keen that no one is endangered, the show is not put at risk and we are able to hold a COVID safe event so if there are specific areas of guidance, please pass these on to the members on your stand and reinforce that they abide by any regulations on site.You should always keep a register of who is on your site during each day and overnight. If there is an emergency you will be expected to account for those on your stand and make emergency services aware if anyone is missing. 5.Follow COVID 19 guidance and instructions COVID-19 is still a risk, it is still circulating within the community and not all those that attend the show will have been vaccinated. You must adhere to the current Government guidelines, this means that you •should not congregate in gatherings of more than 30 people •where possible you should keep 2m between you and anyone that is not in your household or family group. •Follow one way systems that have been put in place. •If you are not able to maintain a 2m distance then you should put in place other mitigation such as facemasks or face shields•you should wash or sanitise your hands on a regular basis •where possible you should remain in the open air where there is free ventilation. If any member of your club becomes ill with COVID-19 symptoms, a new persistent cough, a high temperature or a loss of taste or smell then they and their household or family group should immediately make their way to the isolation area by the first aid team. A member of the committee should be advised immediately and they will be evacuated from the site with their household or family group.There is a responsibility on all members and representatives to ensure that the risk of spreading COVID-19 is minimised at the Rally. If any attendee is deemed to be putting the COVID safe status of the Rally at risk then they will be removed from the site. 6.Barbecues All barbecues must be supervised and controlled at all times. No disposable barbecues or fire pits are permitted within the site. 7.Keep your stand tidy There are volunteers undertaking every aspect of the management of this show so please clear up litter on your stand, if you see litter in general areas then put it in a bin and if there are refuse clearance problems that need to be addressed then please contact one of the committee. All full waste bags should be put in the skips located on site. 8.Children Children (and teenagers) remain the responsibility of their adults whilst on site, they must not be unaccompanied during the show, please ensure that they are involved with the show and can appreciate all that is going on at the show. Please remember that there will be track action and vehicle movements and children will need to be aware of the risks associated with moving around site and spectating the track action. I agree to abide by this guidance and to ensure that those members of the club I represent attending also abide by these.

No, I only have the perimeter posts/bunting and the Mk2Cav banner. I asked Andy a week ago and he said he had one, I didn't know we had two. The weather for the weekend looks to be dry, low wind, 25 day and 15 night. That's pretty good so we will need one.
