Yep the 20NE (115bhp) is almost as torquey as the SEH and always pulls hard. Mind you one of my main little irritations with the mk2's heater controls is that the sliders are on the wrong side for a RHD car so you have to reach across to get them-I don't see why it wasn't till the Nova and mk2 Astra/Carlton that Vauxhall started putting them on the driver's side. I've always thought that the high spec, non sporty models are somewhat unfairly overlooked at times, most people sees to be either into the SRis or more recently early base/L models. A 2.0CDi owner
