although when i sold it it was in very good condition with no rust and very clean bodywork , so he cant take all the credit!.

i'll have to keep a look out for it! 

i sold it to someone from this forum a couple of years ago who apparantly sold it on to someone else.

the switches still have power when the ignition is switched off so that you can operate the windows without putting the key back in (quite handy i think) . check to see if the switch lights go out after the interior light has gone out (with the key out of the ignition) , thats how they worked in my mk3!.

ive owned my 1987 sri 1.8 white hatch for about 6 years now and ive loved it all the way!. its the only vauxhall ive owned up to now. in all the time ive had it i mustve only seen a handfull of mk2's still around which is one of the reasons ive kept it so long!. its nice to see that it still has a following on here!.
