had to replacethe motor in my cabby (when i had it) coz it had seized & in my green cavvy coz it got noisy

does the fan motor work? is it seized or has it failed ?. then could be the fan switch or lastly have you checked the fuse pos 9 20 amp. if the fan has failed epc lists the fan motor for the nova as identical (ie has same part number)

Hi mate, I have a 2010 Astra CDTI 150 aswell as the cav, and I am running a CRD-T DTUK box on the derv, pumps it to 216bhp and 330lbft and I can tell ya it goes VERY well!!! Keeps up with TT 225's, standard Turbo scooby's etc on rolling start... Thing to watch for though is the 150's have weak gearboxes, rubbing inlet manifolds as the swirl flaps go and alternators aint cheap either... Nice engines when running sweet though.. Heres mine

& dont forget..egr's & lovely (not) dualmass flywheels which it all runs with canbus (forgotton what that means).

after a lot of searching i have found the cavvy, , at my house-you can only see the rear bit if you zoom in from the next road!.Did have lots of fun looking espesh when it gets to junctions.....weather changes & cars appear/vanish! . is it worth looking at,um dunno, got bored too quickly.

just been on the google earth street site,found my home ;D,found out i wasn't in, so thought i must be at work. Looked at my work, still not there, so where was i? ???.At my work was done at 2 different times, i can tell coz 1 shows the front with a delivery truck (which is only there early in the morn) and the other is approx lunchtime showing the back yard.I knew the car that took the pictures was in the area becoz i got to service it.

oh well never mind.

you know when you think about something that is bothering you & you think & think and eventualy have an answer then think why didnt i think of that days/weeks ago, well i had one of those thoughts. you see i dont often wash the cavvy much but when i do it stays clean for at least 3/4 weeks,so why is it that i have to wash the cavvy every week now. getting into my cavvy this afternoon and i suddenly thought, all that dust is actually salt from where we have had such a cold winter, so i will now wash the cavvy more and underneath aswell.

so iam passing this on with the view for eveyone to wash their cars more to keep the rot at bay.
