yep your right chris i do want a mk2 but as i say i would need to sell/swap to get 1 but i would have to be a sri130 saloon in as good condition as mine i have had my car estimated by a few mates in the car industry and they said if i did sell it i should aim at about £2750-£2500 as you dont see much genuine red redtops about in the condition mines is in, and i must say the wife was right i should have never had sold my sr1 130 when i did years ago thats 1 of the things i regret the most when it comes to the cars i have had :'( anyway 1 day mate 1 day
cheers scott
ps did you get the spigot rings yet
Its one of the cleanest Cavs on the road mate. Get yourself an old convertible project. Cheap as hell. As long as you don't mind your ass getting wet when it rain's :-\ Still to get the spigot rings. Will get them as soon as i get the car back.

Anywhere that makes graphics will be able to make this for you. Just show them a pic of what you want, tell them what size you want it and presto, your own graphic

that looks nice and solid mate. hope you enjoy it. sort the dodgy bumpers out with a heat gun. there's a how to, on here somewhere. seems a a pity to strip out a 33k engine.

just been on the google earth street site, found my home ;D,found out i wasn't in, so thought i must be at work. Looked at my work, still not there, so where was i? ???.At my work was done at 2 different times, i can tell coz 1 shows the front with a delivery truck (which is only there early in the morn) and the other is approx lunchtime showing the back yard.I knew the car that took the pictures was in the area becoz i got to service it.
oh well never mind.
My Shoguns on twice. once at home and once at work. wonder where else it might turn up ;D

my father in law uses that ice stuff
no need to wash car melarky but id never do it as i just cant get my head around how on earth it can clean your car without scrathing it.
must admit though that his cls320 merc still looks like a £55k car and its 4 years old now!!
he swears by it but haing not tried it i cant comment but if results speak then it looks good.
Don't get to many shows but think if it works would be handy to have a bottle. was on a site today that done a kit for 20 quid. thats tyre cleaner and stuff too. Might be worth a try(on someone elses car first though. i'm the same as you. how in the hell does it work ???

while we're on the subject of car washing. has anyone tried the waterless stuff for washing cars. guy at work was talking about it and said its great. spray on and wipe off no matter how dirty the car is. his bmw is dark green and looks really polished most of the time. no swirls or scratches. anyone used it?

-
there's an N reg v6 cav going cheap up near Aberdeen. was tempted.....
not too far to travel for me. then i remembered what age i am..
my day's of modding cars must be almost over.lol

nice car mate. thers a how to on here for getting yer bumpers back like new for no cash...are you going to join up? £15 quid for the year, gets you access to the rest of the site, allows you to show your car on club stands, plus you get the mk2 cav.com stickers and keyring . i think at some point in the near future you may also get a "how to fit a v6" guide what you reckon Andy?? ;D ;D
ps Tim is yer man for memberships
Used the tip for the bumpers today. Brilliant! what a difference. cheers for that! ;D

AMG wheels are gorgeous. flat fronted so they'll really suit the car.
-
There you go pal
thats the one! Baz was a great bloke. makes a good brew too. quick flight down and back up in about 6 hours. smiling all the way ;D
-
welcome to the club chris. have a silver cabby just the same, pics on here somewhere in project thread. does the bumper trick consist of a heat gun by any chance? works like a dream!
Chris M-- We should get a list going of who has/ is getting V6's fitted, specially in cabbies seen as there much be a few now.
it does involve a heat gun. goin g to give that a try at the weekend. bumpers look crap the way they are. not been right round the site yet but will look out for your cab.
