Hello.

Got hold of Mr Gold SRi, now for the SR!

We found an X plate Carnellian red hatch in Chippenham a while back, but the owner never responded to hte note under the windscreen. Same goes for the A reg gold SRi I found last week. Frustrating, but not a lot you can do.

What reg is it? Any pics? I hope it has a cat, for the sake of the rainforests .

Funny mk3 people? I thought you drove some French thing... :Ha Anyhow. Two tips for you, as you'll rue the day you ever set eyes on E701 :Ha. Before you know it it'll be outside your house with an exploded gearbox or 16 bent valves or the rear shockers will detach from the body or it'll just stop in the middle of a junction and you'll be turning it over frantically, begging it to please, please restart. :Ha I'm still washing the oil out the drive now! Only kidding ;D, but you'll be needing these: See yous all at Trax!

Hi mate, welcome. Shame to hear the shell is rotten. Chassis legs are repairable though, there's many cars on here which have been brought 'back from the brink' You could always reshell the car into a lesser model though. Check out some threads in the projects section for inspiration.

That Ascona looks great. I have a set of 14" Opel Manta wheels similar to those. Who fancies lowering their Cav 60mm with 195x45 tyres? I think that's really cool. Think of the acceleration of a close ratio 1.8 with those!

Be aware that if the car gets stolen then the owner will pass your details on to the Police. ;D Happened to me once when an old guy with a mint SRi saloon had it broken in to after I'd left my number under his windscreen!
