it's 440 miles to stranrear. aa say it will take 7 hrs 30 mins in off peak traffic. would be happy to average 55mph. so we're talking 8 hrs

i've just bought a sri 130 in southampton and intend driving it home to co.antrim via stranraer. if i leave southampton at 15.00 would it be possible to get to the m42 junction 9 ,leading to the m6 toll at 17.30. or will rush hour slow me down considerably. i'm travelling on the m3 ,a34,m40 from southampton
  11. hi, i'm new to this forum and wondered why there seems to be more original cabbys for sale than sri 130s (even when you consider the low number of cabbys made compared to 130s)
  12. i recently read in an old copy of"motor" (18/4/1987 road test) that a new sri 130 was only£700 more expensive than it's running mate 1.8 sri. surely this would suggest that the 130 was,not only better value but also if you want to drive a rare sri,you should think about the 1.8 or even 2.0 se 87/88models. with vauxhall producing 12000 sri models / year,130s should be quite common. any ideas
  13. vauxhall made 12000 sris each year of production.this was around 10% of total production. how many were 130's? still to be solved. at it's (130) introduction the 130 was only £700 more expensive than it's running mate 1.8 sri. quite alot of extras for £700. ( motor magazine 18/4/1987)
