hi mate . ive got those parts if ya want them. new full set of ht leads including coil to dizzy lead, new rotar arm, dizzy cap in good working condition and coil. do you need the amplifier under the coils as well? all worked perfectly when the engine was running before. ive got loads of other 1.6 parts if ya need any just let me know.

does it still start? ;D

hi uncle andy not alot really have`nt had the weather unfortunatly. ive changed the rear brakes so far., ive had little andy round the last two sundays, gettin him involved in it too. hes helped me t cut and polish it, and showed him how to change the brakes, changed the brake fluid and the anit freeze, gonna start on the body next, when you go to that cav would you have a look and see what state the gear gater is in, mine has cracked , would like to change it if i can find a better one, yeah woulnt mind them alloys, if they fit, thanks keep in contact yeah. see you later.

nah not brown, its the light interior, need a good clean tho, it was from as good as the scrap yard, it was sat on a mates drive way for the last 18 months, slowly rotting away, but ill be putting a stop to that in time. chris

hi my names chris, ive recently aquired a mk2 cav 1.6 gl hatch, needs some love and attention, currently off the road, but i plan to get it back to new and it will roll the black stuff once more. i needs a couple of things im not sure were i can obtain from, like the front drivers side plastic trim, thats missing at the moment adn also a rear valance, as this one is in a right state and some previous owner thought they would be clever and screw a new sheet of metals across and hand paint it the same colour os the car. looks a right state, so id like to replace that too. what would be really use ful is if any one has got a manual for the 88 mk 2 cav hatch, they dont need anymore, that i could purchase of them. the reason ive got into this is down to my uncle andy he is a member on here also, his name is andy jones, he owns my grandads mk 2 cav saloon, he mentioned this site to me so here i am.
