didn't teezer say his 82 sr didn't have a l/h door mirror when he got it i'm sure if you take a close look at the photo you can see a gl badge on the tailgate

ive just had a close look at the photos and it a gl spec giveaways are what looks like chrome rings on the wheels a 4 spoke cd type steering wheel what looks like green dash and velour seats and there is a GL badge on the tailgate so pirate go and grab it ;D ;D ;Dwhat spec is it? does the lack of pass mirror mean its base spec?
are there any pics of the interior, seats dash.
mot would make it better, have you had a quote for the work, or any idea what you would want for it done?

we have had a couple of early gls's on here recently but they may have been broken up for parts by now a member called blitz had a red gls saloon he may still have it intact

congratulations on finding an early estate not many of them left now you should have a chat with newbody and rabbit between them they have 3 estates i'm sssooo glad you are going to keep her standard'ish you should join the club as it will give you full access to hard to find parts and advice its the best £15 ive spent in a long while as for attending shows we hold several events throughout the year the best one being the vboa meeting in early july

welcome back to the site you are right to say the sr's are rare I'm sure there are only 8 sr's left 5 hatches and 3 saloons if you need any advice on restoring her engine wise talk to teaser as he got an Sr like yours good luck with your project ;D ;D ;D
