Red SRI130 superb, hatch or saloon? i remember the one your on about with the round lamps, used to see it knocking about now and again, there used to be a stunning pale blue SRI130 hatch in Manweb that i used to leave a note on everytime i was at manwebs, but he never contacted me and i believe it was written off!! look forward to seeing your red beauty one day.

hello, really great to see so many fellow Mk2 cav lovers. sadly i dont own one anymore, and havnt for a very long time, but i never fell out of love with the Mk2. hopefully that qualifies me as a member!! over the years i had a white Y reg Mk2 saloon 1.6L when i was just 18, complete with an orange interior!! JLG 102Y then graduated to a C reg 1.8 SRI saloon in silver, which i had fully resprayed and the 130 kit and wheels fitted. C215JCK then finally a grey E reg SRI130 saloon, which was a proper flyer, once got me from birminghan city centre to chester in 1 hour, and then blew its head gasket the next day!! E320VVM at the same time my brother had an E reg Blue hatch SRI130, a mate had a red E reg SRI130 hatch, another mate had a D reg gold CD hatch and finally my brothers mate had a beautifull white SRI130 saloon on an E reg which used to go like the clappers. B&Qs carpark in the early 90s used to look like a cav meet! hopefully i will get another one day to forfill my impending mid life crisis!! but for now the trip to billing every year to see the collection of Cavs will do. great site. love looking at the galleries.
