  2. I'll be going to this one for sure. I'm a lazy sod and havnt read all the posts as I'm on my phone and it's soooooo slow, but who can get the tickets please? I'm after two if possible. Thank you
  3. just walked through the dor, well 15mins ago, had a hot chocolate and put my slippers on ready for a catch up read. BLOODY AWSOME great show, great to win the best stand and total vauxhall shoot was a well deserved bonus. well, its given me a kict up the arse to get the beige on finished and the rwd...................na thats on hold due to the kit car. anyway enough of that, that blue turbo with them horrible wheels looked ok ;) ;) LOOKS ARD AS NAILS AND TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD THAT BLOWS THE DOORS OF ANY ONE THAT CAME FROM THE FACTORY And them schmitz might not be the only cav that they are seen on   i really liked them, they just looked sooooooooo sweet!!! dare i say it could have been my fav mk2 there? :-* :-*
  4. i wonder why? and you deserved it mate 8) 8)
  5. its quite a quick car to be fair, spins the front wheels everywhere BUT it isnt going to be a great tow car as it is a little of a small engine for me. im looking at the all road of the same seller its a 2.5 4x4 so will be much better for towing however the 1.9 is doing an easy 40mpg on a run and 35mpg round town where as you can easy knock off 5mpg for the all road. if i dont like it ill get another subaru as i loved that and it was fine for everything i wanted, and at 165bhp it was perfect. see what i thgink of the all road.
  6. i couldnt find anything other than a van or discovery that was big enough for me so got an A6 Tdi 130 sport Estate picking it up monday, i was going to get it today but the weather was rather bad to say the least!! im looking at some wheels for it and have come up with some lexus gs300 sport 18" wheels, and some kei ebisu wheels also been looking at tsw holsten but now ive found some mms hr3 wheels and they are soooooooooo sexy ill get some pics up.
  7. My subaru was 4x4 but its not thd snow that caused my problem, it was going downhill on ICE! A passat is VW version using the floor of an A4 isnt it? I know a guy with a W8 estate and he loves it, but not big enough for me.
  8. how do you mean? the price?? if thats what you mean then yea a bit but i cant find what i want for £3k so spent a bit more i know but at least its a big motor. buying this is the difference in about £30-£400 fuel towing to the ring and back i wanted something fastish but looking at the way fuel is rising then the vat in less than 3 weeks i thought a bit better of it, although it would be very nice to have a fast big car i do need a car that is cheap to run at the same time, and as money is a bit of an issue i thought id play it safe for now and at least if it all does go wrong id be able to sell this a lot easier and faster than a sporty fast car. anyways ill always have the turbo cav for a fast car untill the rwd is done :
  9. F**K OFF ;D if you want to cheat have a look if you want to guess keep going but not shite like the c5 please  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260706263303&autorefresh=true
  10. ok ive got one now have some guesses what ive got
  11. Any A4 is to small for us. Didnt know they did a lexus estate, ill look into them. Mates got a tdci estate mondeo 136 bhp and it goes quite well and its a nice size but not too sure about it pulling 2 ton for 1000mile round trips. Been thinking about st2.2 but to dear. Quite like them though.
  12. looked at a mondeo tdci st2.2 on autotrader, they look nice, bit expensive though at £8.5k shame... the hunting goes on
  13. Yea im random alright, ill agree with that for sure. Was thinking about a lexus but not really my cup of tea, bit like a discovery, shogun etc. Kind of thought about an avenses but possibly a bit bland. However i didnt even think about a rover. I like the idea of the v8 one they done but not sure if they did an estate version. They are an underated car as well. Had a look at a 300c estate tonight, slightly better build than the c5 but well over priced yank tank. Im looking at another subaru over the weekend but dont really want what ive had before, be nice to try somthing else. Only 3 of them mitsibushi lagum things on autotrader so they are defernatly rare however how reliable are they? Looked on lagum forums and they all seem ok but im thinking that they are rarer than mk2 cavs!! also been thinking about a mazda 6 estate as they seem a good car, was also thinking saab estate but They are not so big. It looks like another subaru but maybe a twin turbo estate rather than an outback this time.
  14. Did i mention that i need 5 seats and might put it on track? Richie you may laugh but my mate had a 7.5 ton and had his race car in the back, kitted out with kitchen and bathroom and went all over the country doing national hotrod racing. Looked at a shitron C5 estate, went over to the car, opened the door and from then onwards i knew it wasnt for me. What a pile of shite!! Tinie feel, noisy, rough build quility just simply JUNK. no wonder they are cheap, you know the french dont make a decent car at all. But proberly make the best road car/van tyres. Michelin. Looking at a 535d now with 370bhp upgrade, they are 280bjp standard! Its out of my price range but might as well look at want i think i really want as if it dont impress then at least ill be happier with a cheaper car.
  15. i once was going to buy a carlton estate and do a LC rep on it, then thought about a carlton herse and use it as my company van im a locksmith and was going to have a Lotus Carlton kit on it and have DEADLOCKS down the side trouble with this one is that its not an estate ;D
  16. im after peoples ideas please. crashed the subaru legacy outback estate and want to replace it with another big estate car for around £3000 im running about in an old m reg 520 estate at the moment, i had a 525 diesel for a while a few years back and am thinking about a 530d estate but im after different thoughts. ive had a S6 Audi estate, Scorpio Cosworth estate, Focus estate, 2.5 and 3.0L outback estates, Zafira gsi, but dont want what ive had before i fancy something different. was looking into a S8 but they only make an estate in Germany and only 2010 models and at £90k...........ill have 2 i want a car for.......... towing a track car and trailer so 2000kg tow load would be nice however 1750kg is enough (i do 800-1000mile round trips) big for the family trips with suitcases etc (5 of us) needs to be luxury rather than sporty (or a lux sport) needs air con auto would be prefered but manual is ok needs cruise and as many toys as possible (like to play and see whats going on) thoughts so far....... was thinking about RS6 TO EXPENSIVE So maybe a S6 estate or just a nice A6? Mitsibushi rs4v thing but dont know a thing about them. skyline estate import thing? merc estate but dont really like them to look at, the only merc's for me apart from old ones is the cls320 A4 estate is too small for us was looking at possibly getting my mates transit but not sure i can live with that, its a bit crude coming from a lux estate car. was also thinking about an omega 53 plate or possibly a vectra new shape estate, insignas are to dear. i dont want a volvo or a jag any others people can think of?

    irmscher!!

Thankfully we never had these in the UK!! look like anything?
  18. PICS AS REQUESTED This is a £1500- £2000 car before the bump the tyres alone cost me £390 and the tax is worth £30 odd plus a full tax of gas and thats nearly the asking price!! just want it gone now as its quite upsetting seeing this like it is looking for a new shape 2.5 outback now but no cash untill at least feb unless there is a 4-5k bargin about (normally about 6k+) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280599263771
  19. it went EVERYWHERE, i used it to pull my boat out in low tides on the green slippery seaweed, across fields and in the snow but not great on ice no tyres will grip ice without studs even with 2x locked axles because at the end of the day tyres need grip and ice DONT LET THEM GRIP
  20. na not at all, it was 100% my fault for foolishly going down that lane after a days worth of -4 weather freezing the snow and i paid the price, never mind at least its not goldie i stuffed!! ill get them pics tomorrow when i move it
  21. WRITTEN THE SCOOBY OFF YESTURDAY DOING ALL OF 6-7MPH i was going down a snowy lane that had tyre tracks up and down and had seen cars going down earlier in the day but the snow had turned to ice and the rest is history. the ABS dosnt work under 5mph and as i was going around a corner i could feel the car under steering quite badly and knew we were sliding, then the abs came in so now i know we are speeding up and doing at least 5mph, pedal by now is going mad but the car is still speeding up on the ice downhill heading very slowly at a cornish granite wall, bang in goes the drivers side front corner, boom across the road we go like a pin ball, crunch, bang goes the passengers side front corner and the wheel jams up against the floor pan, twirling down the road and into a 12" ditch and the final crunch rear drivers quater into the wall and the front end is now sticking out across the road. so im thinking if anything else comes down they are going to hit us and then its double trouble!! so rocking the car back and forth in reverse and 1st it pulls out the ditch and im facing the wrong way UPHILL, so i reverse at about 0.5-1mph and turnaround, park it up and call a friend to pick me and the wife up, i left the car there and am going back tomorrow for it as it needs a front end lift due to teh n/s wheel being pushed back. it needs 2x headlights 2xindicators 2x bumpers 2xwings loads of pulling about on a jig and what ever suspension is broken replacing. oh it gets better......... i had just filled the bloody thing with £43worth of LPG so im now breaking it good everything apart from above ill post pics up tomorrow when i move it. its worth £1500-£2000 on insurance but ive got at least a £500 excess plus i cant be arsed to have a claim against me so ill get £1000+ if i break it and its easier to do. ive also got Audi S3 wheels on it that are worth a bit so if anybody wants subaru legacey outback parts let me know!! its worth putting back on the road for sure as its an awsome machine and i loved it but now im thinking of getting a transit van for towing and work etc and as my mate has one for sale...........
  22. you beat me to it, i was just doing the upload now. looks quite a nice one that mate 8)
