  21. hello and welcome to the site we would all like to see some pictures mate PLEASE :)
  22. bloody 'ell guys i forgot about this thread. i took it back on carbs and it made 177bhp running a little rich midrange and very rich at 5200rpm up. if i set the cams up and set the carbs up then the rolling road reckon its an easy 185bhp engine. trouble is its about 2-5hours on the rollers and i dont want to pay £80 per hour id rather put the money into fiting the engine in the mx5 and use the power thats there, plus the rings need doing as its a bit smoky around 4000rpm upwards, well its like a two stroke if im being honest! its a strong engine even if its a bit smoky so im going to fit rings and have it for the mx5 the cav is defo coming off the road end of september and im going to fit the turbo engine over the winter, its meant to be 240bhp and if its less ill dump the piggy back ecu, get a better turbo, injectors etc and get an emerald ecu and take it closer to 300+ or sell it and fit a 1600cc small block and hide all the wires and flush all the engine bay PROPER tartish i know but i love the golfs and corsa when they do it.
  23. you lot have got it all wrong DER..........its Ferrari Red ;D dont like the odd sizes front to rear but those old school wheels do kind of suit that car, dont think that they would look great on the beige saloon though.
  24. i really like bobet A but not sure if they suit the beige colour i really like tsw holsten ans was thinking about a set of bentley wheels. [img width=360 height=480]http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g22/cossykiller/eurp_0801_09_z2007_vw_passat20_inch.jpg would like the holsten in no bigger than a 17 though, look nice very nice on audi a8 in 22"
  25. Ferrari wheels are a straight fit on 5 stud vauxhall pattern even the center bore works Ferrari is 67mm vauxhall 65mm the offset is 50mm vauxhall is 49mm so is as perfect your going to get. i like the old skool look but its still not the perfect wheel for me. the porsche rims only fit as im using 4 stud adaptors but dont have 5 stud adaptors and dont want to spend £250 on some. im looking at possibly fitting the shark amg wheel, although its an ultra modern wheel on a old stlye car i think they suit it. and i really like the wheel, only trouble is id need some bigger brakes and some fancy ali calipers so it would look a bit better than the little v6 front and rear brakes i have got to make the wheels look right.
