its nothing to do with lack dedication on my part > i have been really looking forward to going to billing as i always do ive worked hard to make sure the asconas ready to go and was looking forward to meeting members new and old and having a rumage around the auto jumble for those hard to find bits but now i'm laid up in agony and hating every minite of it :'( :'(

well sorry to say it looking very unlikley i'm going to make billing :( there is nothing wrong with the ascona its me thats broken down an old back injury has raised its ugly head and ive been confined to the sofa for the last 3 days the doc has given me stronger pain killers and im hopping that i will be well enough to join the rest of you who are attending :'( :'( :'(

welcome to the club mate nice to see another ascona popping up ;D do my eyes decive me or was you ascona converted from L/H/D to R/H/D the reason i ask is that the wiper arms swing from left to right instead of right to left

dave are you still looking for a pair of large spotlights for the ascona i think ive got a pair of lights kicking around in my parts shed i think they are about 7 inch in diameter can bring to billing if you want ;D

ive just rung billing and got my refund for last years washout so it's billing here we come ;D ;D ;D

i'm in the process of booking my saturday night camping and i'm wondering if as i did not attend billing due to it being cancelled last year and having paid my £15 and had no refund would i get this years camping for free

welcome to the club mate east anglia seems to be a haven for mk2 cav estates i'm based in ipswich and ive got a 84 b reg base model and jason (newbody) has a collection of 4 estates he hails from walton on the naze in essex ;D

a classic example of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" by attaching 2 turbos there is probably not enough exhaust pressure to spin the turbos up to create the boost reqired for greater performance ;D ;D ;D

my mates got a A reg ascona cd hatch in beige i also knew of a A reg auto in white but that one got broken up :(

haha i know that problem well i had to decide weather to bring the sr/e or the gold ascona auto last year but billing being flooded made my mind up for me don't forget to pack an inflatable dingy for the years show ;D ;D
