Thanks Frisco! The amount of time that's been plugged into Tech1 and I'd forgotten all about it...

Probably up there with CDi saloon rear chrome trip for the rear lights, or early CDI door cards (with the satchells pockets)!
Wow, I'd actually forgotten about those door satchells... Pal had some in an early SR saloon (probably liberated from the scrap yard)

Unobtainium!
Yes, thats the material

Great result, especially those rims, and that steering wheel!
Here's one for the ideas box... Chrome door handles ?

Another thing I desperately need, is a pair of retractable rear seatbelts - I have identical-twin boys and don’t want them to go in the car, before it has some rear-seatbelts…
Are they out of kiddie seats? My mk2 cav rear belts didnt go around the younger seats, and fitted in the front my daughter jumped out of her skin every time the wipers went...

slightly off topic... spotted an immaculate Chevane van on a trailer late Friday evening Nr Birmingham on the M6, and a driving HSR on the A14 Sat 5pm. Assumption made both at Sywell...

Hi Cole, The mk3 Expression was (if I recall from my days in sales) around J or K plate, so 1991/2, in a light metallic blue or red, had the Cavalier LX alloys and similar black/red striped seat trim to the Astra SX. A 1987 Cavalier could have been added with the expression graphics by a car dealer... We badged up some Corsa's as " Monaco " as we fitted aftermarket TSW monaco wheels and put the SRI spoiler on. Good luck with the viewing, be good to see the pics

Christ, Calibre's that move!
Seems I need to get a catering pack of P40 and fire the welder up

Haha thank you - I certainly will!! It’s now nestling down behind a mk3 Astra instead which has a Saab engine - though it too has a slightly crunchy third gear....
The cavalier has a 4 speed gearbox exactly like my Nova, I half expected a 5 speed but was pleasantly surprised! I like a 4 speeder!!
if i recall, the 5 speed was optional at a cost of around £200...its amazing how many standard 4 speeds were sold!

very nice, just keep that Astra away from it, the gearbox self destruction mode is contagious...

That reminds me, where did I leave the mig welder...
-
that's some collection... bet you're never short of "stuff to do"
