Motronic operates on a 20 ignition cycle basis after that the ecu will revert back to base settings also 80% of the codes listed do not apply to motronic 1.5 there are for motronic 2.5 ,2.7 & simtec also all codes now have moved on to 4 digit lines so you can break down a fault to find out where the fault is > useing a 4 digit code will tell you if a fault is on a feed ,earth or on a unit or sensor its self the best way to tackle your problem is to have the code read properly the break down the code then you can pin point the problem Also as Karol said its best to stick to one system as by mixing & matching componets will also give you faults you can get a gost code by fitting a component that isnt matched to you system with there not actuly being a real fault there
