  1. Have you had a good look at the one Jim had? I had wondered why the wipers went the wrong way
  2. From what I've heard the number was 112 but it they weren't only available in 84. John boland had them later than that and the one Jim Nolan has now is an 88. Still with there only being 112 to start with they are rare now
  3. There is quite a few 2 doors popping up over here now. Where is Dublin are you dude? I work in Santry
  4. Well we are home and without the aid of a yellow truck too. She still isn't a happy girl but we got here. I haved to say a massive thanks to everyone for helping out. We had a great weekend. It was good to catch up with everyone and chill out.
  5. Co. Meath Ireland. 8am ferry I was still working on the car at 7am this morning
  6. Thanks Chris. The bloke at the gate will direct you in to the show fields and we are on the left hand side of the road after you cross the bridge. We're hard to mess. Just to point this out again Anyone showing a car with us over the weekend has to be paid up member before they arrive. This can only be done via the paid subscriptions function on the site no memberships will be taken in person over the weekend. Thanks
  7. Sadly a disclaimer means very little when a child gets hurt according the insurance company.
  8. Sorry folks but we have asked Newbody not to bring the bouncy castle. Our insurance wont cover it without it costing us an arm and a leg and if we have it without insurance the club is wide open if something were to happen. Hate to be a spoilsport but its beyond our control
  9. Your going to have to ring them then mate. When I paid she gave me a number to give the bloke at the gate.
  10. Hello mate Glad to hear your holding things together. You must be a glutton for punishment having a mini
  11. Andy and Paul Young had a static two years ago and it seemed fairly clean. That end of billing is a completely different site over the weekend.
  12. Who's for one last BIG show of solidarity?! This isn't signing your life away at this point, just gauging numbers! A consistent 30 something would be fantastic. But I think there should be some sort of reward if we cracked 40. If we hit 40 it will set a record that I doubt will ever be beaten with the most in one place at one time, excluding only the factory itself! (Not even scrap yards can match this figure!) If there was ever a meet to attend for sheer numbers, let's make it this one! Please add a post saying if you are coming. DO NOT cut and paste changes into our master list. Just put the change in a post and we will add it to the list. Please include the Cavalier's first registered date or send it by PM to Andy. If you have listed two cars and only one driver before it's now listed one the one line +1. Add a confirmed driver (a la steffi / keir / newbody / mrs newbody) then it counts as a second Cavalier! Please note that everyone who wants to show with us has to be a club member at the time of the show so will have to follow the subscription procedure on the site beforehand. We will not be taking cash payments at the show. 14. Welcome to the site mate. I personally wouldn't write off Marks car because of the distance, he has had it for years and the care that has been taken with it is well documented on this site.

  16. 300Cs are not even proper yank tanks though. IIRC they use the old merc E class chassis. The Legnums are as reliable as any mitsubishi really so pretty good. They are not massive though, maybe a bit biger than an A4
  17. So the list goes S6 estate, 535d and then jumps to a citroen c5. Mate you are nothing if not random
  18. The mitsubishi Legnum VR4 things are a great laugh to drive, the handeling is excellent. They are comfy but im not sure if call them luxury. Manuals are 280bhp standard and the autos (which are much more common) are 260
