as newbody is kindly bringing a 240 volt genetator i have just finished making up a lead with 2 light fittings to bring some light to the gazebo and i will be also bringing a 6 metre rope light to provide a bit of a party atmosphere and a laptop with an sd card reader so we can look at the photos taken during the day

will do another item to add to the billing kit

ive got a 6 metre rope light in white or an 300 watt floodlight i can bring along to billing

count me in ive got myself booked in ;D whats the score on spec sheets as mines looking a bit jaded :-[

didn't teezer say his 82 sr didn't have a l/h door mirror when he got it i'm sure if you take a close look at the photo you can see a gl badge on the tailgate

ive just had a close look at the photos and it a gl spec giveaways are what looks like chrome rings on the wheels a 4 spoke cd type steering wheel what looks like green dash and velour seats and there is a GL badge on the tailgate so pirate go and grab it ;D ;D ;D

yes mate she's got all 4 wheels fitted and not a brick in sight lol ;D ;D ;D

Ive got one its a 1.3 base spec saloon there not very common as they were overlooked in favor of the upmarket models like the sri/130's and the cdi when people started to appreciate their up and coming classic car status ;D

we have had a couple of early gls's on here recently but they may have been broken up for parts by now a member called blitz had a red gls saloon he may still have it intact

welcome back to the site you are right to say the sr's are rare I'm sure there are only 8 sr's left 5 hatches and 3 saloons if you need any advice on restoring her engine wise talk to teaser as he got an Sr like yours good luck with your project ;D ;D ;D
