  4. I'm pretty sure you can but they are not taking cash on the gate. Best to book online the day before and get the email confirmation on your phone or bit of paper.
  5. Last time to book is Thursday the 1st to allow a confirmatory email to be sent.
  6. Will check on last time to buy tickets online. You can take the Ascona on a lorry but, depending on the size of the lorry and our stand space you might have to have the Ascona on the stand and the lorry in the public car park.
  7. Just posted this over on various social media Hi everyone. The VBOA show is now less than 4 weeks away. Regardless of what Boris decides for the 21st it will still be on. If he delays things the only real difference will be masks in the bar hanger. If you are a Mk2 Cavalier or Ascona C owner planning to attend please remember to not only book your admission/camping on the VBOA website but also to post the details of your days over on our website and if you want to show or camp on our stand, make sure that your club membership is up to date. We really need to know the numbers for stand sizing and layout. https://www.mk2cav.com/topic/23172-vboa-2021-sywell-2nd3rd4th-july-join-up-thread/
  8. Perhaps seeing them will fire you up
  9. C'mon folks, get your names down, there is only 4 weeks to go.
  10. Hi Jake welcome to the site. We really need more info on the cars e.g hatch or saloon, and photos are a great place to start, can you post some please? Also where are you and do you have a price in mind.

A very warm welcome Leon. Very pleased you took my advice and posted over here. Looking forward to the photos of your progress. In case you have not spotted it they are hi res so with a reasonable screen they can be pretty good. If you enjoy the experience here please consider joining the Club and we will move the thread to Members Garage. Hope you have taken a look at some of the other construction threads for a bit of inspiration. Oh, and where are you?
  12. Probably Saturday as its a full day. As you are a member you are entitled, subject to space, to put your non Cav in the back of our stand.
  13. Brilliant. Now give us the details at

  15. Had the reply. "Yes, dogs are allowed as we are separate from the airfield, however, they are not allowed inside the buildings and must be kept under control."
  16. I'll ask. But probably not as its an operational airfield.

  24. This is the gathering information on who is coming thread. As in previous years please do not amend the initial master summary post. Please add your own post with the information requested and a Mod will add it to the master list before deleting it. Again, do not put chat here as it will be deleted. Put it in the chat thread. VBOA want to know 1. How many vehicles on the stand per day. We want to know how many are Mk2 Cavaliers and how many are others, Vauxhall or not. 2. How many tents and their approx size e.g. 2, 3 , 4 person etc 3. Any caravans/motorhomes/trailers if any, as space may be limited. So, when you say you are coming please state - name (handle and real), what car, which day(s) - if overnight your tent size (people capacity), motorhome, caravan etc Thanks
  25. Hi Mark, welcome to the Forum. Where are you?
