Hi. Greg,
Sorry I haven't replied sooner but have been hoping to get the Commander repaired, so far with no luck.
I will be at Sywell this coming weekend in a Nova Cabriolet A12 VNC if you would like to come and see us.
We've been invited to the MK2 Cav. stand by Andy.
Look forward to meeting you.

Hello Jackie, Ok, I will likely be in England rugby kit or lions kit. Be good to chat, the commander hatch was my first mk2, love them. Greg
P.S. if you find me tell me about the commander hatch (brain is fried at the mo).....I am stupid busy trying to get a car ready for the show, and have my boys this week too.....madness.

I am sooo bummed out! I have recently bin'd my gls and the insurance say its a total loss?. Feel as sick as a dog. Going home from work in her and the ass end stepped out and bang in the wall. Front and rear n/s. I am keeping her to salvage what I can. So anything needed let me know. Now I am on the look out for another.

Hi Greg, Just replaced the alternator on my LET today and I think there is a bolt hole you can use as the block end fixing for your fabricated tensioner bracket. It is the one that the existing XE alternator top 'y' bracket uses near the end of the head. You would need to put a 90 degree bend and a dogleg in the bracket but it should work ok.
As to the parts, £10 each plus post say £30 all in.
Regards John

Currently struggling to get on top of this, please bare with me as I try to work out what to do. I need to look at the standard bracket....I am guessing that it won't pivot.....again need to check....sorry I put my back out a couple of weekends ago and still struggling. All the more fun when you run your own business
Thanks for all your help, and I might need these parts, so please put them by. I will be in touch.
