Not my first post on here, but I thought Id leave the intro until I owned a mk2!

I have been dicking around with Cavalier's for around 20 years! My very first one was a D reg hatch, which I quickly wrote off, then a E reg saloon. 22 mk3's followed, lately all turbo 4x4's. I been holding out for a while now to buy a another turbo, but I've got sick of waiting for people to make there minds up about selling them , so I've gone and bought this!

Sorry they have loaded as thumb nails!

Had a lovely drive back of around 90 miles. Developed a misfire under load within the first few minutes, likely the CTS. Also found some recent attempts to hide some rust, such as the poorly finished slam panel and the quick "flash over" the lower half of the rear arches. Little bits to do, but all in all a very nice original example. Floors and all important areas are mint.

I'll be starting project thread soon. Not that its a project, i will be using this car every day for work until the dreaded gritters came back out!

Yes mate it is, apparently spent from new until 2010 with shell on their dyno, then hardly done any miles since. Still has load of weird sensors attached to engine and exhaust!  I absolutely love it!. Cant believe how many people have stopped to talk to me when they see it! A taxi drive practically blocked me yesterday to take a look. Interestingly he reckoned an old boy on my estate has a mint SRI130 saloon in his garage, owned from new. Think I need to put the feelers out for that one!

Shame I cant get it in the garage yet, but the previous owner did give me a very posh (and heavy) car cover for it, so its tucked up in that at the mo!
