i'm Mike  ,25 years old from the netherlands  and i drive a  1982  2door ascona c luxus 

i became a member to gather information and idea's about my ascona c

the mods :

60/50 k.a.w loweringkit

8x15 schmidt modernlines

c20xe with f16 4 speed gearbox (going to be swapped for f16 5 speed)

lightened flywheel

chipped ecu

original c20xe exhaustmanifold

from manifold to back gr.a exhaust ,no middamper and katalysator

my plan is to  restaurate the car next year completely  an make some changes to make it better ...

When you say re-saturate do you mean re-spray? Hope you do not change colour, the white looks great!

i ment restore i think ?

i want to make the car better as new ,  weld it where needed and  remove  the door and boot locks and close the attenna hole  then respray the whole car  (inside,outside,underside,enginebay)in the same white it is now... (really love the white paint)

new interior with rollcage  ,cav mk3 gsi seats and the rest of the original interior re-done in black leather

I bought the ascona  5 september 2013

i'm the fourth and last owner know  because its going to stay forever  ;D

and focus completely on the white one

How much is the Ascona hatch worth over there? It looks in OK condition, apart from the colour change (front collision?).

its not as good as it looks  , it is worth the scrap price  here  (100 -200euro if your lucky) because of te the new taxrules in holland( full tax for cars from "74-"87)    the ascona c is not a popular car in holland..  that's why getting  parts sometimes is difficult

yes it had a front collision      the previous owner took the engine out  and gave the rest of the car to me for free

the hatch has only cost me 142 euro til now  ( for the front)  i had the rest lying around in the garage (engine,gearbox,bodypanels,front legs) so if i sell it in parts it doesn't hurt that much haha

Really nice car always like the 2 door and the wheels suit it. Fair play too for using it as your daily.
