yes was a great day, loved the track action its the perfect size for something like that, I will be having a go next year!

Well done to one and all to get a stand together and lots of cars - they looked well.

Plenty of good retro vehicles not seen before - generally more standard - enjoyed it.

Really much more gentile this year cf last year. Lots of bottled water and meusli/apricot yoghurt!!

The track was not as exciting as the previous year when it was run the other way round - I guess the health and safety boys were worried about someone going down the hill and not stopping!! Need lots of grunt to get round the bottom corner and up  the hill twice. Matey rolling his escort went some way to redressing the balance.

Easy to get to, the track, the cars and the museum as a pleasant aside makes it a good day out.

I adore your car Paul........recently fell in Love with the old skool euro-look n as I've said to you before, that's the route I'm most likely to take when I get a Cav.

As I type this, there's a mega cool A-plate Jetta parked outside my office window, "As low as a snake's bollocks" as it says in the rear window, on 13" fat, deep-dish, polished rims, in gold with beige interior and it looks awesome!

at a guess they will be 5.5 wide which is WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY too narrow 

but yea a set would look sweet on an early cav

Looking at this:

looks like the 15's are only 5" wide, but you can get the 13's in 7" or 8" width!

Edit.....looking on eBay, there are loads with upto 9 x 15's available but the ones on there at the mo are only 4 x 130 PCD

german ebay is the answer they turn up there now and again, came very close to buying a set a few months back but the guy wanted loads of £ to ship them over
