Ok so with the last few years out the way, time to address the vboa show at Sywell from a club stand point of view.

 

What things would people like to see us as a club doing to make it a better event for us as a club

We need plenty of cavs ideally.  The bar would be great if you could bring it Jas.  Central area with gazbos or other stuff.  Be good to have it welcoming for people to feel they can pop in for a chat.  Could tragically have badges for folks to chat to you......could have your reg under......really nerdy lol

Agreed turn out is the most important thing. I will be going this year but no Cav anymore. So it’ll be the Tigra A but I wouldn’t go with any other club.

Cav Bar would be great again. We have a gazebo don’t we?

If mk3 cavs are allowed i assume calibras are allowed as well?

No as its not a Cavalier but it could be parked as usual at the back as an alien.

Also trying not to tread on other Club's toes.

Fair play @newbody for putting this post up, be good to get the spirit of the old billing back.

As has been said the main thing is good numbers of members, and if those members bring cavalier then all the better, but members are more essential than cars on the stand.

Also a central place for ALL members to sit and chat (drink) rather than several small groups. I know its natural to sit with the people you already know, i am as guilty of this as anyone else, but this year be nice to be one group.

Can i suggest a bbq for both friday and saturday nights?

@Paulyou can suggest it but I'm not sure what time Friday I'll be getting there Daughter is now a teacher and the Friday end of term day

scrap that idea, forgot you cant arrive on the thursday anymore, so a lot probably wouldnt be there till late on the friday evening anyway

The bar / bar b q is a work of art and even if not used would be a great addition to the stand so hopefully you can bring it regardless Jas
