Right! The club has purchased 4 pairs (8 total ;)) of walkie talkies with a 12 mile range based upon the following cars attending;

Jonny's Gold Cav

The Ascii

Paul's Early SRi

Richie's Calibre

steffi's - nodes

Teazer - SR

Paul / Ben - Mechanic / Omega

This leaves us with one spare in case another car decides to attend. If this is the case I will provide a link to the walkie talkies we have purchased. They will need to be looked after and returned after the event so we can use them in future convoys.

Tim is organising several sets of batteries for all, so we should have enough cover.

So does this also mean, (once i got home from billing with the clubs banner in my car, i pulled the banner and it's bag out of the car which also fell over onto my car and totally distroyed and flattened it ? ;D) i can claim?

It's an elaborate scam, doomed to failure mate, the policy is pretty specific, I think limbs would need to be lost etc..  plus it still wouldnt be worth it haha! ;)
